Thimble Features.

Bulk security updates.

When you have a request to update the security on several matters, helpdesk (or a nominated user) can now use a tool to update the security on bulk, through one simple, audited interface. No more matter-by-matter updates or having to purchase an expensive, on-premises information barrier product.

Activity reports.

A key partner or senior lawyer is leaving the firm and you need to make sure they haven’t downloaded IP from the firm, now you can just run a report for that person and identify the matters where they have pulled information from.

See who has accessed content on a certain matter/s or what content a particular user has access to by running run a report in Thimble.

Setting up alerts and scheduled reports.

Rather than having to remember to run a report, Thimble gives you the ability to get notified based on rules that you set and at your preferred time. No more hidden surprises or finding out days after the actions were carried out.

Trends and analytics.

Knowing about an issue before it happens can seem like an unachievable dream. Imagine you’re able to see trends in usage across NetDocuments and you discover that a user is accessing documents outside their workgroup or starting to download more precedents than normal.

Mass import files and folders.

You have just received a large selection of files and folders on a local USB drive and need to upload them all into a workspace, whilst maintaining the underlying folder structure, order, and naming conventions.

The Thimble Folder Import Tool is a downloadable feature that makes this process simple and fast.

Merge Workspaces or move content between cabinets.

You have just completed a mass import of new workspaces and realise that there are several duplicates than need to be combined into a single workspace. You also want to move those workspaces to another cabinet.

In Thimble, you can merge two workspaces in the same cabinet whilst keeping any folder structures and choosing to retain or delete one of the workspaces.

Data Retention and Archiving

Thimble Data Retention allows users to offload archived or excess data from your NetDocuments repository to your own Azure tenancy. This helps minimise risk and save on storage costs without needing to dive head first into deleting data as the first step. Thimble also allows users to run a workspace report to see which workspaces are taking up the most storage space and make sure that old data is not being frequently accessed prior to offloading or deleting.

And much much more!
