Business Intelligence Reporting for Actionstep.

What is Viewpoint by Verlata?

Viewpoint is a Business Intelligence solution developed by Verlata using Power BI, Microsoft’s cloud-based business analytics platform. It gives you a single view of your critical business data through streamlined tables and visuals. You can monitor the health of your firm easily each day through your reports.

Viewpoint contains the most frequently requested financial reports by law firms in a highly visual and dynamic format. It allows the user to see high level data with the option to drill down and investigate points of interest.

The Benefits of Viewpoint by Verlata.

Comprehensive Reporting.

It closes the gaps in Actionstep reporting around identifying trends, KPI tracking and a complete macro view of your business. Several of the reports contain direct links to Actionstep, allowing a user to select a matter from a table and open the matter directly in Actionstep.

Daily Data Refresh.

Know how your firm is tracking financially with daily data uploads. This allows you to be proactive rather than reactive.

Company Branding.

Viewpoint can now be customised with your own company logo, colour scheme and custom branding to create a seamless addition to your existing systems. As part of the upgrade, we will ask you to provide a logo and colour palette to apply to the suite.

Drill Throughs.

The Viewpoint reports contain drill-throughs, a Power BI function that enables a user to drill through to a table of the underlying data behind a particular visual.

Slicers and Filters.

All the reports in the Viewpoint suite have been standardised to include filters and slicers with consistent naming conventions and are all right aligned to allow easy use and application.
